Oysters with soy and sesame dressing
this was lovely and fresh and a good pairing with another lime chilli dressing.

Preparation Time 10 minutes
serves: 8

Ingredients of Oysters with soy and sesame dressing
2 tbs light soy sauce
2 tbs rice wine vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
24 Pacific oysters, in the half shell
2 green shallots, ends trimmed, thinly sliced

Description of Oysters with soy and sesame dressing
Place the soy sauce, vinegar and oil in a screw-top jar and shake until well combined.

Place the oysters on a large serving platter. Drizzle over the soy & sesame dressing and sprinkle with the green shallot. Serve immediately.

Notes & tips for Oysters with soy and sesame dressing
You can prepare this recipe to the end of step 1 up to 1 day ahead. Continue from step 2 just before serving. Pacific oysters have a creamy texture and are larger than Sydney rock oysters. They're available from the seafood counter of Woolworths supermarkets.

Buy fresh seafood as close to Christmas Day as possible. Cover oysters in plastic wrap and store in the fridge for up to one day. Store the green king prawns in their shells in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days.
