Chocolate cherry bowl Recipe
Made this for Christmas last year. Waterbomb balloons would make a better size bowl. Ordinary balloons are a bit big. I filled the bowls with whipped cream and fresh fruit. The family loved them.

serves: 6

Equipment of Chocolate cherry bowl Recipe
You'll need a packet of round balloons.

Ingredients of Chocolate cherry bowl Recipe
2 x 375g packets milk choc melts
2kg You'll love Coles fresh cherries
400g good-quality milk chocolate, melted
400g good-quality white chocolate, melted
1 tablespoon pure icing sugar

Description of Chocolate cherry bowl Recipe
Place choc melts in a heatproof, microwave-safe bowl. Microwave, uncovered, on HIGH (100%) for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring every minute with a metal spoon, or until melted (chocolate should two-thirds fill the bowl - if it doesn't, transfer to a smaller bowl).

Inflate balloons. Tie to secure. Dip balloon into chocolate. Allow to set (see related article for technique). Repeat with remaining balloons.

Re-melt choc melts. Dip balloons into chocolate again to form 2 coats. Allow to set (if hot day place balloons in fridge for 10 minutes). Place balloon, chocolate side down, on a sheet of baking paper. Slowly deflate and peel away balloon.
Place chocolate bowls in an airtight container, stacked with a sheet of baking paper between bowls. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

One hour before serving: Using half the cherries, half dip into milk chocolate and place on a tray lined with baking paper. Refrigerate until set. Repeat with remaining cherries and white chocolate.

Arrange choc-dipped cherries in chocolate bowls. Dust with icing sugar. Serve.
